Hello, Patyrn creators!
In the world of design, creativity can strike at any moment. You might start a project, get halfway through, and then need to step away. But how do you make sure your brilliant work-in-progress is safe and sound for later? The answer is simple: saving your design as a draft.
Saving your work in Patyrn is different from exporting. Exporting creates a final image file (like a PNG )for printing or sharing. Saving, on the other hand, captures your entire editable project—layers, objects, and all—so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
Here’s how to master the art of saving in Patyrn.
Step 1: Look for the "Save" Button
As you work on your design, you'll find a "Save" button, usually located in the top header bar of the editor. It's your best friend for protecting your creative progress. If you're working on a new, unsaved design, you might be prompted to give your creation a name.
Step 2: Save Your Progress Regularly
Made a change you love? Click Save. Added a new layer of complexity? Click Save. It’s a good habit to save your work every few minutes.
When you save, Patyrn doesn't just save a flat image. It saves the entire structure of your design as a lightweight project file in the cloud. This means all your layers, object positions, colors, and settings are preserved.

Step 3: Find Your Saved Work in the Drafts Manager
So, where do your saved designs go?
You can find all your saved projects in the "Drafts Manager" or "My Patterns" section of your account. This is your personal gallery of all your works-in-progress. From here, you can:
