But now comes the big question: what will it actually look like on a real product? It's one thing to see your design on a flat canvas, but it's another to see it wrapped around a throw pillow, printed on a tote bag, or decorating a phone case.
That's where the magic of the Patyrn Mockup Studio comes in.
The Mockup Studio is a powerful, integrated feature designed to bridge the gap between your digital design and a real-world product. It allows you to instantly apply your patterns to a curated library of high-quality, professionally photographed scenes, giving you a stunningly realistic preview of your work in context.
Whether you're preparing a presentation for a client, creating product listings for your online store, or crafting eye-catching content for social media, the Mockup Studio is your key to creating professional and compelling visuals.
Let's walk through how to use it!
Step 1: Design Your Pattern
First things first, create the pattern you want to showcase. Use Patyrn’s powerful editor to add icons, shapes, text, and images until you're happy with your design. Each "Page" in your Patyrn project can hold a different pattern, and you'll be able to switch between them inside the Mockup Studio.
Step 2: Access the Mockup Studio
Once your pattern is ready, look to the main toolbar on the left side of your screen.
Step 3: Choose Your Scene
In the Mockup Picker, you can browse through different categories of product mockups. We have everything from apparel and home decor to stationery and tech accessories.

Simply scroll through the scenes and click on the one that best fits your pattern. Once you click it, you'll be transported into the Mockup Studio.
Step 4: Fine-Tune Your Mockup
You're now in the Mockup Studio! You'll see your chosen product scene with your active pattern applied to it. This is where you can dial in the details to get the perfect look.
At the top of the screen, you'll find a simple but powerful control panel:
At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a filmstrip of all the patterns in your current project (one for each page).
Experiment with these controls! The live preview updates instantly, so you can see exactly how your adjustments affect the final look.
Step 5: Download Your Masterpiece
Once your mockup looks perfect, it's time to save it.
Step 6: Return to the Editor
Finished creating mockups? Simply click the "Back to Editor" button at the top left to return to the main pattern design canvas.
